THE grand old man of rugby league, Tommy Sale, has been awarded the highest Rotary Club honour.
Leigh Rotary Club president Chris Stephenson presented Tommy with the Paul Harris Fellowship. Paul Harris was the founder of the International Rotary Movement and the award is made for substantial contribution to the community.
The award recognised Tommy's outstanding service to Leigh Rugby League Club and rugby league in general.
