THE minister and committee at a Horwich church hope to make a decision about its future by the end of the year.
A meeting was held at the Lee Lane church on Sunday to allow local people have their say on how the use of the building could be maximised for the benefit of the wider community.
Church leader Derek Hine said it is early days and that the committee will be taking time to assess the responses and review funding options before making any final decisions.
He said: "We now feel we need a lot longer to look into the ideas that have come forward and consider finance, backing and community support."
