A SCULPTOR created an unusual plaque to mark the first anniversary of Bolton Tourist Information Centre's new home.
Christopher Johnstone runs Reject Bears at the Bolton Business Centre in Lower Bridgeman Street which makes unique, hand-sculpted ceramic bears and other animals.
But for the centre's plaque he came up with a design in the shape of an elephant, as they are synonymous with the borough's history.
The elephant symbol has been used to promote Bolton for many years.
The plaque was unveiled by the deputy mayor of Bolton, Councillor Cliff Morris, who also officially opened the centre last year.
