IT was a glittering occasion at the Bolton Evening News Amateur Stage Awards/Bolton Amateur Theatre Societies' Dinner.
More than 300 people attended the Oscar-style ceremony at the Lion of Vienna Suite at the Reebok Stadium.

Best Pantomime: Tyldesley Little Theatre - Jack and Jill
Best Choreography: St Paul's AODS - Guys and Dolls
Best Actress in a Musical: Natalie Kirkbright for Nancy in Oliver, Bolton Premier Productions
Best Actor in a Musical: Steve Benson - Fred Graham/Petruchio, Kiss Me Kate, Farnworth Performing Arts Company
Best Actress in a Play: Cath Blower - Meg in Beauty Queen of Leenane, Bolton Little Theatre
Best Actor in a Play: Jason Crompton - Alfie in Alfie, Marco Players
Best Drama: Alfie - The Marco Players
Best Musical: The Mikado, New Rosemere AOS
