THE latest person to be slapped with an anti-social behaviour order has been named.
Kieron Doherty, aged 17, of Rossall Road, Tonge Moor, was handed the ASBO when he appeared at Bolton Youth Court.
Magistrates have banned him from acting in an anti-social manner, using foul language and interfering with property.
And today Doherty became one just a handful of those with ASBOs in Bolton to have pictures released by police. Anyone who spots him or others breaching the rules of their order is being urged to shop them to police.
Anyone found guilty in court of breaking the order faces a maximum five-year jail term.
The full list of stringent conditions prevents Doherty from:
Behaving in an anti-social manner so as to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person
Using threatening, abusive, intimidating or insulting language towards any person
Entering the garden or yard of any property, except for a legitimate purpose or with the consent of the owner
Interfering with the property of any person
With certain exceptions, travelling in any vehicle
Insp Tony Kenyon of Astley Bridge police said: "We will be monitoring Doherty's behaviour very closely to ensure he complies with these conditions.
"They are designed to ensure that he does nothing to cause distress or alarm to any member of the community.
"If he breaks any of the conditions he will be arrested and placed back before the court.
"I would urge anyone who is suffering from any form of anti-social behaviour to report it to the police."
Anyone with information is asked to call 0161 872 5050 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
