WIGAN Athletic can return to the top of the Coca Cola Championship on Tuesday night with a victory over Burnley at the JJB Stadium.

The Latics lost top spot after conceding a late equaliser in a 3-3 draw at Wolves on Saturday, a result which allowed Ipswich to overtake them by beating Millwall 2-0 on Sunday.

Manager Paul Jewell is expected to stick with the side which drew at Molineux, with Nathan Ellington and Jason Roberts continuing up front.

Former Wanderers defender Emerson Thome is once again expected to be on the bench.

Burnley will be without midfielder Micah Hyde, who is suspended, with Lee Roche deputising.
