HELPING to organise Bolton's Christmas Lights switch on gave Kate Lowe a buzz for PR.
Kate, a former Canon Slade pupil, helped at Bolton Metro's annual festive extravaganza in 2000 and enjoyed it so much that she determined she would develop a career in the profession.
And now, as the fifth member of Manchester-based property and consumer PR agency Impact Media PR, she has arrived.
As the company's new PR assistant, Kate will help with Impact's growing client portfolio.
Since its founding by managing director Paul Patton in 2001, Impact Media PR has worked on major property and regeneration PR projects throughout Manchester and the North-west, and lists names such as David McLean Homes and Manchester-based Urveda Day Spas among its clients.
Kate said: "I really enjoyed working in Bolton, and I knew where I wanted to be.
"I'm proud to be working with a company that has played such a pivotal role in the regeneration of the city."
