Horwich town centre will soon benefit from a £20,000 cash boost.
Councillors are in the process of deciding how to spend the District Centre Improvement Fund money - an annual award from Bolton Council that must be spent on improving the town centre.
So far plans include two framed town centre maps, welcome signs at the borders of Horwich, new railings in various areas and a dismountable bollard at the entrance to Old Station Park.
