CHILDREN are to benefit from a new project designed to boost their self-esteem.
The Pyramid Clubs will be offered to primary school youngsters whose teachers feel they would benefit from increased confidence.
They will be invited to take part in a 10-week course filled with fun activities such as crafts, cookery and games. Each course, run by specially-trained volunteers, ends with a party to celebrate their achievements.
The initiative is part of Bolton Out Of School Time (BOOST) which offers support to pupils to help them make the most of opportunities available to them during their school life.
Anyone interested or wanting to know more about the Pyramid Clubs should contact Paula Mead on 01204 334005.
