EAGLEY cruised through to the second round of the Lancashire Amateur Shield by beating Blackburn side Mill Hill St Peter's 6-0.
The Villagers were 3-0 up at half-time, and looked comfortable throughout.
Danny Hamer and Mark Callow both grabbed two goals, with Carl Grimshaw and Liam Carr rounding off the scoring.
Their next game is at home to Charnock Richard on Saturday (3pm).
Eagley reserves came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Charnock Richard. The seconds have no match this weekend.
