BURY man Andrew Stewart is running the 2004 Great North Run to raise vital funds for the Parkinson's Disease Society.
The 40-year-old will cover a gruelling 13.1 miles in the world's biggest half marathon from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to South Shields along with 49,000 other runners on September 26. He is hoping to raise more than £1,500 in sponsorship to enable the charity to continue the development of its services and support to people living with Parkinson's.
