A CHARITY dinner night held to help 30 million people whose lives have been devastated by flash floods in Bangladesh raised more than £2,000.
The Nawab Restaurant on Market Street, Westhoughton, held the event as part of Global Disaster Support's national campaign to raise money to aid stricken families.
Proceeds from the sale of tickets and a raffle held on the night will go directly to paying for food, medicine and clothing.
More than 200 people, including all Westhoughton Town Council members, attended the dinner.
