A MILITARY fair is being held in Harwood on Saturday, September 25.
The event, at Longsite Church Hall, Longsite Lane, follows the success of the summer fair.
Free valuations for all types of military memorabilia, including badges and medals, starts at 8.30am and runs until 3.30pm.
Organiser Bill Holden said: "It's such a shame that medals and other military artifacts are left in attics and drawers or just thrown in the dustbin.
"I feel it is very important to preserve our past and, in particular, the memories of the brave men and women who gave their lives during the First and Second World Wars."
The summer's event raised £205 for charity and organisers hope to beat that total this time.
