PEOPLE living with chronic diseases such as diabetes or arthritis are being given the chance to get a new perspective on their condition.
A short course, called the Expert Patients Programme, offers the chance to take part in a series of half day sessions to address topics such as dealing with emotions, pain and tiredness, diet and exercise and communication skills.
The course is run by tutors who have been in the same situation and want to share what they have learnt with others.
The next course starts on Tuesday, October 19, at Mere Hall with sessions every Tuesday for six weeks.
