A MAN admitted stealing a trolley full of goods from a supermarket, saying he did it to pay off a debt.
Shaun Hillam, aged 38, of Wash Lane, Bury, told Bury Magistrates the £163 worth of goods he had stolen from Asda would be resold for £70 which would take the pressure off him from a debt-collector.
He was ordered to be detained for the rest of the court's business that day. Court costs were waived.
