FIVE armed men grabbed a member of staff and threatened her during a raid on a supermarket.
The gang, all wearing balaclavas and carrying lump hammers, burst into Aldi in Swinton Hall Road, Swinton, on Wednesday at around 7pm.
One man grabbed hold of a member of staff and dragged her to the store's office, demanding money.
The men eventually fled empty-handed and escaped in a green Honda Legend car. No-one was injured in the incident.
