North West Counties League: WINGER Gareth Strange is ready to step back into the Atherton LR starting up when they hit the FA Cup trail tomorrow.
Strange, who missed the opening weeks of the season with an eye injury, will start in place of Steve Settle for the first qualifying round home tie against Whickham (3pm).
Settle has a groin injury which forced him off at half-time in LR's 3-2 win at Trafford in the North West Counties League First Division on Tuesday night.
Whickham, who are based in Newcastle and play in the Albany Northern League, finally won through to face LR with a 4-0 preliminary round replay victory over Seaham Red Star on Tuesday night.
The teams had drawn 3-3 in the original tie, and the first replay was abandoned because of a floodlight failure.
Daisy Hill travel to Castleton Gabriels in the North West Counties League Second Division tomorrow (3pm).
