Accrington v Leigh RMI: LEIGH RMI look to halt Accrington Stanley's flying start to the season tomorrow.

The Lancashire rivals have soared up the table at the start of their second season in the Conference, but RMI boss Phil Starbuck believes his side can spring a surprise.

The Railwaymen were devastated after they threw a two-goal lead away against Aldershot last weekend, but Starbuck believes the 3-3 draw against one of the league's top teams underlines his side's recent improvement.

He said: "We travel to Accrington tomorrow and York City on Tuesday and I believe they are both winnable games. We won't be outfought and we won't lie down, and there is no reason why we can't win.

"Our opponents will think they will win but hopefully we can get a result."

Starbuck has been delifghted with the way his recent acquisitions have given an extra dimension to his side. Michael Byrne, on loan from Stockport, has bolstered RMI's attack, as have Ian Fitzpatrick and Gary Williams, who came on as a substitute against the Shots.

Gareth Holmes is a long-term casualty and Gregor Rioch will face a late test on a hamstring strain.
