WE are constantly being told to embrace diversity by the London-based "Metropolitan elite" - the kind of people you find in expensive restaurants and at publicly-funded soirees, drinking fine wines and rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.

We live, they insist, in a "multi-cultural", tolerant society.

On Wednesday, September 15, these very same people voted to criminalise fox-hunting. To those of a thoughtful nature, there is no need to explain the contradiction.
