BOLTON'S under-13s swept all before them with the schools side winning the Hacking Cup and the Bolton League team retaining the Peak Trophy.
The schools team had a tremendous win over Oldham in the final of the Hacking Cup, at Old Trafford.
Bolton made a modest 94, including 29 from Chris Baxendale, but their bowlers soon had a stranglehold on the game.
David Flanagan conceded just five runs off his five overs, Philip Cavill bowled four maiden overs and got two wickets for 14 runs off eight overs and Ryan Chaisty's three wickets in his fourth over destroyed the opposition.
Several of the team also play for the Bolton League side that has now gone 20 matches unbeaten in the Peak Trophy, beating teams from all over Lancashire and Merseyside.
In the final game, they defeated the Bolton Association by 31 runs with Chaisty their top scorer, hitting 51.
