POLICE have launched a fresh appeal for information into a crash on the M6 which left a married couple dead.
Their car became trapped between a 17 tonne lorry and a tanker on the motorway near Walsall, West Midlands, on September 10.
More than 25 tonnes of phosphoric acid was spilled in the accident causing extensive damage to the highway.
The victims, a a 28-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, from Carnforth, Lancashire, have not been named by police.
