YOUNG people aged 16 to 20 are being given the chance to take part in expeditions lasting four to five weeks during their next summer holidays.
BSES Expeditions - formerly the British Schools Exploring Society - is organising a number of expeditions in 2005.
The charity is planning ventures to the Arctic Svalbard area, the White Mountains of the Peruvian Andes and to Arctic Norway, as well as a two-month trip to South Africa.
All the expeditions will include science fieldwork and conservation. Anyone interested should call 020-7591-3141.
