BUDDING young scribes are being handed the chance to see a magical ice spectacular.
Disney On Ice arrives at the Manchester Arena next month as it unveils comedy action adventure Disney/Pixar Toy Story 2.
And with National Poetry Day approaching, talented writers could win a trip for the whole family.
Disney On Ice is inviting youngsters aged 12 and under to write a poem about their best friend and enter it into the Toy Story 2 poetry competition.
The poem should explain what makes their best friend special, in however many words it takes.
The competition is split into three age groups with one winner picked from each group.
They will each win a family ticket to see the show between December 22-27.
Send a poem, along with your name, address, telephone number and age to The Bird Consultancy, New Church House, 34 John Dalton Street, Manchester M2 6LE. Closing date for entries is October 1 and winners will be announced on National Poetry Day, October 7.
