The first team made it two out of two with a 36-6 win over Ashton under Lyne.

Brooks adding the conversion.

Ashton worked hard to win a penalty which was duly converted, but Bolton's response was emphatic as Singleton scored his second try. Ashton hit back with a second penalty but Bolton killed off any intentions of an Ashton come back as Singleton completed his second consecutive hat-trick before South African prop Hartwig Driemeyer crashed over for a final try to put them second in the league.
