LOOKING BACK reader Peter Inch has been in touch - from Lexington, Kentucky.
Peter, who sees the page on the internet, tells me that this the photograph was taken in 1952 somewhere between Heysham and Morecambe.
He is the schoolboy on the left, standing next to his fraternal twin brother, John.
"We attended Church Road Primary School," Peter says.
"Behind us are our parents, on the far left is my mother Rose - next to my father Jack.
"On the far right is Alice, my mother's sister and Fred, her husband."
Peter says: "My parents loved Morecambe and no matter what the weather one of the features was to walk from Heysham to Morecambe after drinking a glass of Grannie's nettle beer in Heysham.
"From the dresswear in the photograph it looks like we were ignoring cold and rain to have a good time."
Peter says it is 28 years since his home was in Bolton - he has lived in various locations in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA, including eight years in Lexington.
His brother John emigrated to Canada more than 35 years ago.
Their brother, Jack Inch, was a CIS agent for many years and was a founder member of the Bolton Rifle and Pistol Club.
