A MOCK light aircraft crash will be staged on a Lancashire marsh on Tuesday by an aerospace firm to test its emergency procedures.
BAE Systems set up the simulation around its Warton plant near Preston.
"Exercise Firefox" involves the firm's emergency crews and fire, ambulance, police and coastguard services.
Local residents have been told there will be no major disruption and urged to keep away from the exercise area throughout the morning.
Another aim of the exercise is to ensure the firm meets the regulatory requirements of its airport operating licence.
Members of the Environment Agency and county and borough councils will also be involved in the exercise.
