LEADING fencers from Britain and Europe will compete at an international tournament in Bolton next month.
The International Manchester Cadet Fencing Tournament will be held at Bolton Arena on Saturday, October 2.
Organisers are aiming to encourage more youngsters to take up the sport, and are also planning a series of coaching sessions in local schools.
Anyone can go to watch the international tournament, which will take place at the Arena's Sport Education Theatre from 9.30am, with the finals expected to be held at 5.30pm. Admission is free.
