TO all residents of Wood End, Clayton-le-Woods.
Are you aware of the proposed O2 telecommunications mast which will be erected on the site of the disused Clayton Reservoir owned by United Utilities?
This mast will rise 17.5 metres high (the average tree in the area is five metres).
Many people are concerned about the drop of the property value should this mast be approved and erected.
Would we be able to cope with such an eyesore staring at us daily?
Surely there must be a more appropriate site for this mast?
According to local surveys this was supposed to be a residential area with no further developments taking place.
Mr Michael Slater, Blackthorn Croft, Clayton-le-Woods.
