I AM by and large a patient person, but over the last few weeks I have become increasingly disturbed.
The lack of understanding shown on the part of the local authority in the face of opposition from the people of Bolton to changes that are due to take place in and outside our Market Hall.
I am equally disturbed by the edifice being constructed on the site of the Old Fire Station. The size alone must make one ask questions as to its contribution to the balance and aesthetics of the surrounding area and whether or not it has been appropriately positioned in the town centre.
I have thus felt it important to ask questions of the people who consider these matters on our behalf, and have written to the Town Hall. I do not expect a reply.
