Form guide: Birmingham just can't get going this season after doing so well since playing their way in to the Premiership. They are struggling for goals but with Heskey and Yorke on board, that should be just a short-term problem.
Danger man: While Reebok fans always love to see Robbie Savage get his comeuppance, Sam Allardyce will be delighted if his back four can keep Emile Heskey out of harm's way. The England striker has not hit the heights yet at St Andrew's but, on his day, he can do a lot of damage.
Selection update: Midfielder Damien Johnson is available after suspension, Emile Heskey expects to be fit after picking up an ankle injury in the Carling Cup defeat of Lincoln, and Muzzy Izzet and Kenny Cunningham return after being rested in midweek. Left-back Jamie Clapham could make his first Premiership appearance of the season following his comeback against Lincoln after knee surgery. Mikael Forssell is expected to be sidelined for six months following knee surgery.
