COLNE Cricket have beaten Bolton side Bar Lane to the Thwaites East Lancashire Premier League title.
The title was secured with an 8-6 home win over St Andrews.
It means that Bar Lane cannot catch them even if they took a maximum 14 points from their last game at Darwen Subs next Sunday to draw level, as Colne would still take the title, having won more matches.
Colne's Glynn Shuttleworth carried off the North West Fire Protection Merit title, despite losing 21-20 to Simon Wilcox.
Turton were comfortable winners over Greenhill, and would have claimed a 14-point whitewash but for Alan Gregory's 21-13 victory.
John Haslam's 21-7 triumph was Turton's most impressive performance.
