Astley Bridge Darts League: JENNY Nuttall is the new summer champion in the ladies' 133 and over competition.
The Crofters player was crowned queen of the high scorers after playing some terrific darts.
There was an impressive turnout, with 36 entrants, and plenty of high scores - with Eileen Eastwood getting a 171, and Jenny Nuttall 174. Linda Heyes hit a wonderful 130 finish, only to succumb to Jenny in the semi-final.
Jean Burns (Rag Dolls) was the losing finalist who just could not repeat her previous form to overcome Jenny.
The other semi-finalists were Eileen Hilton (Bridge Babes) and Linda Heyes (Down & Outs).
The Men's 180s takes place on Monday at Halliwell Conservative Club, with the draw at 8.30pm. A list was provided in last Saturday's Bolton Evening News, and can be found on the website www.abdarts.co.uk
There are a number of summer league fees outstanding. All fees should have been paid before the end of July as per league rules.
The following teams need to pay the fees (or remainder of fees) within the next seven days to ensure Winter League entry.
It is the players' responsibility to ensure the fees are paid on time. Payment can be made at Halliwell Con Club from 7pm, any night except Wednesday.
