BOLTON'S Moat House hotel has won a prize for helping disabled people realise their potential in the workplace.
The Hotel has scooped a regional Remploy Leading the Way award for being highly supportive of its staff, irrespective of disability, and welcoming people with different abilities.
Moat House general manager Stephen Beech said: "We are delighted that Remploy chose us to be the Regional Champion for the north - it is a great honour for the hotel and our hardworking and dedicated team members."
The annual Leading the Way awards recognises regional winners in three sectors - small, medium and large employers. Bolton Moat House won the top prize in the medium category as an employer of between 50 and 250 people.
The hotel will now compete in the national final in London next month.
Remploy is the UK's largest supplier of employment opportunities for people with disabilities and health issues.
Mr Beech added: "We welcome anyone who is enthusiastic, hardworking and shares a passion for customer service and we look forward to working closely with Remploy in the future."
