POOR access is adding two hours to disabled people's shopping trips in Manchester, the Disability Rights Commission said on Tuesday.
The commission said disabled people were getting a second class service after a survey revealed access problems at stores and cinemas across the city, as well as unhelpful staff.
Businesses will have to become more user-friendly to disabled people under new laws coming into force on Friday.
