BLACKROD slipped to fourth-from-bottom of the Aegon West Lancashire Premier Division after losing 2-1 at home to Barrow.
Gary McShane gave Blackrod the lead, but they could not take further advantage of a strong wind at their backs, and were made to pay when the teams turned round at half-time.
Mansergh scored twice for the Barrow-based visitors after the interval, aided by some uncertain defending.
Blackrod reserves also lie fourth-from-bottom of their division following a 2-1 defeat at Hesketh.
Danny Ashcroft scored for Blackrod, who had 26 shots on goal to Hesketh's three, but could not make them count.
