Euxton rallied in the second half, but Carl Grimshaw wrapped up the points for Eagley when he found the target with 10 minutes left, before the visitors grabbed a late consolation goal.

BLACKROD slipped to fourth-from-bottom of the Premier Division after losing 2-1 at home to Dalton.

Mansergh scored twice for the Barrow-based visitors after the interval, aided by some uncertain defending.
Blackrod reserves also lie fourth-from-bottom of their division following a 2-1 defeat at Hesketh.
Danny Ashcroft scored for Blackrod, who had 26 shots on goal to Hesketh's three, but could not make them count.
