BOLTON pupils are being encouraged to enter a handwriting competition.
Children aged four to 14 can start to submit entries to the National Schools Handwriting Competition 2005. The closing date is March 28 next year and there are more than 20 individual prizes and a winning school prize of £1,000.
Schools can enter as many pupils as they like. Entry fees start at £1 per entry for up to 29 entries, £40 for between 30 and 69 entries, and £75 for more 70 or more entries.
