MATCH day parking problems around the Reebok Stadium are to be discussed at a meeting of local residents.
Householders close to the home of Bolton Wanderers have been complaining about traffic problems since the stadium was built.
Now residents are being invited to a meeting at the stadium on Wednesday, November 3, at 7.30pm, which will also be attended by representatives of the stadium, Bolton Council and Horwich and Blackrod town councils.
Cllr Barbara Ronson said: "There have been complaints about this issue since the Reebok opened.
"The problems stem from planning restrictions which cut the number of parking spaces and imposed parking charges to help fund the bus services.
"The idea of the meeting is to hear what people perceive to be the major problems and try to come up with some form of solution."
Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to book a place by contacting area co-ordinators Jane Archer or Anne Boles on 01204 331064/62.
