JAY-JAY Okocha and Sam Allardyce will attend the launch party of the latest publication celebrating the long and distinguished history of Bolton Wanderers.
"Making Headlines" -- the story of Bolton Wanderers as seen through the pages of the Bolton Evening News -- will be officially launched at 6pm on Thursday at the Reebok Superstore.
Wanderers assistant manager Phil Brown and the legendary FA Cup winner Roy Hartle will also accompany the author of the book, Les Gent, a former editor of the Evening News.
Throughout its long history, the Bolton Evening News - founded in 1867 - and its associated sports papers the Football Field, The Buff, The Green Final, and daughter paper the Bolton Journal, have reported the fortunes of the Wanderers, and "Making Headlines" follows those stories, printing them as they appeared over the years.
The book is not intended to be a detailed record of the club and player achievements, but more of a general and entertaining read, reporting major events, but also touching on many subjects which will not have seen the light of day since the report or picture first appeared in the paper.
"Making Headlines" is now available to pre-order, priced £24.99. To place your order call the Mailorder Hotline on 0845 1249828 or log onto the website at www.bwfcsuperstore.co.uk
