DURING August, there were 596 patients waiting more than 13 weeks for an outpatient appointment at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The hospital has to ensure all outpatients are seen within 13 weeks by December 2005. There has been an increase of 85 patients in just one month requiring an outpatient appointment.
