A MOTORCYCLIST was still fighting for his life after he was involved in accident with a car.
The 28-year-old from Bury was riding a Yamaha FZR 400cc along Bolton Road, Radcliffe, when he was in collision with a Fiat Punto as he reached the junction of Bradley Fold Road.
He suffered serious head and leg injuries in the crash at 7pm on Tuesday.
The rider was taken to Bury's Fairfield General Hospital and later transferred to the intensive care unit at the Royal Preston Hospital where he is in a critical but stable condition.
The pillion passenger, a 23-year-old woman from Bury, escaped with minor injuries.
The driver of the car, a 56-year-old woman from Little Lever, was not hurt.
