COACH Denis Betts has put his Wigan Warriors on their guard for Friday night's Super League elimination semi-final against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the JJB Stadium.
Wigan expect to be at full strength for the tie with Brian Carney in with a chance of returning after recovering from a hamstring injury, which has seen him miss the last three games.
Kris Radlinski is also back in contention. Yet Betts insisted that his side will have to be at their best to repel the Wildcats.
He said: "Wakefield are very well organised and are showing desire at the moment.
"They're playing with a great deal of self belief, and when you look across the side, the signings of Solomona and Domic have been instrumental in some of their stuff this year, while Ellis has turned into a fantastic player and the acquisition of Chris Feather has been really helpful to them.
"I've watched them over the last couple of weeks and know that they will play with no restrictions and no restraints, but with everything to gain.
"We've had two hard games against them this season and they never give in.
"They've also bought very well, have some good overseas players, who have combined well with a good mixture of youngsters.
"They are a side with plenty of fight, and it will be like that right up to the 80th minute tonight."
Betts also gave credit to Trinity's management pairing of Shane McNally and Tony Smith. "Having Smith as assistant coach has brought a new dimension to the Wakefield half backs. He's an experienced player, and he and Shane McNally have done well this year."
