IN response to the letter, September 15, in favour of Royal Preston Hospital as a major trauma centre, I beg to differ.
If a relative or friend had a serious accident in or near Chorley and was at the brink of death, it would be more important that they receive all necessary medical intervention as soon as possible to ensure their survival.
The delay of a ten-mile journey could be the difference between life and death.
