Radcliffe Borough v Shildon: KEVIN Glendon's hopes of bringing Jody Banim back to Radcliffe Borough have been dashed after the striker signed for Conference North side Droylsden.
Accrington Stanley were looking to sign Banim from League Two side Shrewsbury, with a view to loaning him back to Borough to give him some match practice.
The 26-year-old striker failed to make an impact at Shrewsbury after joining the club from Radcliffe for £20,000 last December.
Glendon said: "I'm disappointed with Jody. Football doesn't appear to be his top priority at the moment."
But despite that disappointment, Glendon is confident of FA Cup progress tomorrow at home to Albany Northern League side Shildon.
He said: "I'm not being big-headed, but if we play like we played in the first half at Hyde, we'll be okay."
Borough were beaten 3-0 at Ewen Fields on Monday despite an excellent first-half display.
Simon Kelly is suspended and Davey Luker is out with a calf injury.
