Astley Bridge Darts League: CARL Mosscrop from the Top Bull took top honours after beating a tough field to win the Men's 180s competition.
There were some terrific darts thrown on the night making it a very enjoyable event. Bernard Jones (Roundhouse) was the unlucky runner-up who played very well on the night and just could not produce the same form in the final.
Jack Fletcher (Founders Boys) and Mark Porter (Schooner or l8r) were the semi finalists.
All teams please note that the fixtures for the forthcoming winter league will be available for collection on Monday, October 11, from Halliwell Conservative Club from 8pm. Every team must send a representative to collect the fixtures. The winter league will commence the following week on October 18.
Please ensure all outstanding matches are played as soon as possible. There are a number of teams who have failed to notify the secretary of postponed matches during the summer season, and some teams who failed to deliver cards within the specified time. This will not be acceptable during the winter season and action will be taken as per league rules.
