THE council is inviting applications for the role of Rock Czar.
Bolton town hall bosses have created the position in a bid to put the town on the map for live music.
The 30 hour-a-week job commands a salary of nearly £19,000. As previously reported in the Bolton Evening News, the role, currently being performed by Paul Dean, is to promote live bands and propel talented youngsters to stardom. Applications must be received by the council by Thursday, November 11.
