A BROWNIE pack is having lots of fun with a new £300 play parachute.
The 77th Bolton St Andrew's Brownies have brought a new play parachute with funds from the Bolton Council Voluntary Sector grant scheme.
The girls will use the "parachute" for a variety of physical activities.
Assistant leader Lindsay Doyle said the parachute is able to waft a short distance up into the air, allowing Brownies to play games such as cat and mouse underneath.
They will also be able to play games by rolling balls over the top of the parachute into the hole in the centre of the parachute.
Mrs Doyle said: "The girls get so excited whenever we get the parachute out."
