HENRIK Pedersen is hoping to extend his Reebok stay, despite admitting he misses Denmark.
The Wanderers top scorer's contract expires at the end of the season and, although Sam Allardyce is expecting to open talks around Christmas time, the Denmark international is considering his future.
In the absence of a new deal, Pedersen says he would happily return to Denmark but the Reebok is his preferred option.
"If I was to choose, I would like to extend my stay in Bolton," he said. "Alternatively, I can find another club over here, but I can't imagine playing anywhere other than England or Denmark.
"I must say I miss Denmark. I'm the type who feels best in safe surroundings with family and friends nearby.
"That's why I'm considering returning to the Danish SA-Ligaen (Super League) and it doesn't have to be my old club Silkeborg. Clubs like FC Copenhagen and Brondby are also attractive, but I don't know if they want a player like me."
