Bolton Sunday League
BULL'S Head stormed to the top of the Bolton Sunday League Premier Division after outplaying Armitage in a 5-0 beating.
That helped them to leapfrog Arkwrights, who had to be content with a 3-3 draw at Bowling Green.
In the Premier Division's basement battle, bottom side Jolly Waggoner went down 2-1 to Greenwood, the side that started the day immediately above them. With the weather postponing the games between Horwich Vic and Tonge United, and Bradford Arms and Ladybridge, the win helped Greenwood into a midtable position.
Farnworth Canary lost the lead of the First Division after their game against Britannia Farnworth was also a weather victim.
Second placed Black Horse took full advantage of that to take over top spot after a resounding 6-2 away win at Prince Rupert.
Fox and Stork were the day's biggest winners, beating Darcy Lever 7-1 with two goals each from Plano, Rainford and Russell, with Foster adding another. Collier gave Darcy their only reply.
Pied Piper were another side to win handsomely, beating AFC Heaton 5-1.
