LEIGH Atheletic had an easy 5-3 win over Dukinfield Town.
Leigh fell behind after a defensive mix-up, but were soon back on terms when Neil Sumner tapped home and then followed up with a powerful shot from the edge of the area. Danny Wilson headed home from a set-piece.
Andy Miller got the reward his performance deserved, as he slotted home after a fine run, but the last five minutes saw Dukinfield pull two goals back before Phil Sheehan put the result beyond doubt again by stroking home.
The reserves recorded a fine 2-1 win at Irlam MS to continue their good run. Wilkinson netted the winner in the closing stages to send manager Dave Mort into a touchline frenzy.
The third team battered Highfield 9-1 with Edwards getting a hat-trick.
